"Helping our future help their future"

Most low-income areas in the United States are set up for failure. A primary source of this is the lack of healthcare that is present within these undeserving communities. Many individuals within these communities are not able to afford the quality of healthcare that they deserve, and many nurses and doctors are leaving these areas to go find a more lucrative and less chaotic location. Overall, this lose-lose situation has left millions of struggling families with a lack of hope for a positive change, and this is the very reason why myself and others are so passionate about trying to fix this issue as soon as possible.

That is where we step in. Here at SuperHealth, our motto is to "help our future help their future". We are a non-profit organization striving to increase the quality of healthcare in these low-income populations, and we are here to prove that it can be fixed within people of the same community. Our main way of doing such is through our healthcare mentoring program. Starting for children in high school, SuperHealth will be visiting local schools in low-income areas to discuss the roles of many healthcare workers such as nurses, physicians assistants, or doctors as well as the many perks that can come from these jobs such as the income. As the internet is becoming more prevalent in the everyday life of most individuals, we also plan on advertising heavily through such methods as well. If children are interested, or parents are interested for their children, they can sign up through our website, which contains a step-by-step process on how these children can apply to such schools and internships as well as comprehensive study guides to help these children succeed and thrive in their respective fields. In addition, children will have the opportunity to apply for and earn scholarships to fund their medical journey. Furthermore, every child that signs up gets paired with a mentor that will help them along their medical journey. The dream is for these children to be able to earn a respectable income to help their families and continue to serve the community that brought them up.

What makes this organization unique is that it is not simply a mentorship program. SuperHealth is also promoting the hope for a positive change in the healthcare equality by hosting many volunteer programs. These include volunteer work at local soup kitchens and homeless shelters where volunteers can not only give out basic supplies but also conversate and connect with these individuals, which leaves much more of an emotional impact than one would imagine. Furthermore, there is another volunteer program primarily targeted to students in their senior year of high school. This is the SuperHealth shadowing program, where qualified students can have the opportunity to shadow a nurse, physicians assistant, or other desired position in a local hospital. Through this, these young adults are able to gain experience and insight in the health field and how business operates within a real-life setting.

I think that Anima Mundi Development Partners would be a great partner for this organization as we are both striving to achieve a similar mission, which is the improvement of health for all. SuperHealth is as sustainable as an organization can be as most operations conducted online, aside from the volunteer work which only serves to positively impact local communities. Through partnering with SuperHealth, although results will not be instant, we ensure that our practices will open up a new door to many young and aspiring children who want to leave a positive impact on the world.
